My puppy chewed the AC adapter that came with the Wii so I had to buy a replacement adapter and this one worked just as the original adapter and the price was very reasonable. I had none of these problems with my previous power adapter and I only replaced this one because of a robbery where the thief stole various random things from our apartment including the wii power supply but not the wii...
