When I recieved this product, I remember some frustrations I had

with my router. When I normally tried to connect devices to my router wirelessly, a WEP key was required, which I did not have access to.

I was worried that this would be the situation with this, but it WASN’T!

I plugged the USB end of the product to my Wii’s USB port, and the ethernet side goes into my router. After I told the Wii to use

the wired connection, instantly the Wii found the connection and started

    downloading updates for my Wii.

I now play Animal Crossing: City Folk AND Super Smash Brother Brawl online, and I use the WiiConnect24 feature of the Wii!

I strongly recomend this, for people whp get frustrated with slow

wireless connections. You will be happy you bought this!

  3. This works great to connect to the internet with a LAN line, instead of wirelessly. I’ve found I have a much better connection this way. It was way cheaper than Nintendo’s version. There was no setup. I just plugged it in, and told the Wii to use the Wired connection it the connection setup menu. I highly suggest this product for online gaming like SSBB and Mario Kart Wii to avoid lag or disconnects.
