Wii MotionPlus

Working in conjunction with the Wii Remote’s existing motion control technology, MotionPlus further enhances the player’s experience with added shot depth and precise ball placement on the court. Racket rotation is also recognized so you can spin your stick just like the pros do, whether you choose to strategically pick your opponent apart from the baseline, or aggressively attack the net using serve and volley techniques.

Key Features:

  • Swing the Racket Like a Grand Slam Champion – Users feel like they are actually playing tennis as they swing real forehands and backhands. Hit a variety of shots such as top spin, slice, flat, lobs and drop shots.
  • Grand Slam Career – As the only video game licensed to feature Wimbledon, users can play all four Grand Slams. Authentic stadiums and venues are recognizable as the real grounds.
  • Wii MotionPlus – One of the first games compatible with the new Wii MotionPlus. When the peripheral is added, the experience is enhanced with added shot depth and precise ball placement. Racket rotation is also recognized so you can spin your stick just like the pros do.

the graphics are terrible, the gameplay is terrible, and it barely sences the wii remote. I dont have wii motion pluss that might make the system scence it better. the only fun part is ? NOTHING!!! I DO NOT RECCOMEND TO ANYONE!!!! IN STRONG WORDS!

I bought this tennis game and the Nintendo Wii Plus attachment for the controller on the assumption that it would be more fun than the original Nintendo Wii Sports Tennis. I was wrong. This game is less fun. It requires pushing more buttons that confuse the player. The game is less easy to play. The Wii Plus seems to add nothing to control of the ball that is not in the original Wii Sports Tennis. The game is too fast and the “player figure” seems to jump around and get out of position for the next shot. This does not happen in the original game. Perhaps the Nintendo system is too limited to make the game seem closer to “real”. The new technology from Microsoft and from Sony that eliminates the controller and uses a camera to “see” what the player is doing might be what is needed to give the player a more true to life experience of actually playing a real tennis game.

Maybe I haven’t spent as much time figuring it out as I need to or maybe I just don’t want to. I prefer wii sports tennis to this game. I still can’t figure out how to move the players from side to side. It went back in it’s box and stayed there after a very frustrating afternoon. I only have limited time to play anything so if I can’t learn it quickly it’s out of there…. Very disappointing especially for the cost.

This is by far the best tennis game ever for the wii. This is much more realistic and challenging. The graphics are cool..and i have observed the player behaves exactly as the player in the game.

That is, it is way too difficult to win even on Easy mode playing against the computer opponents. Computer opponents rarely, if ever, miss a shot, much less make an error. There is not much fun to be had in consistently losing matches 3 sets to none. Too bad, since otherwise, the game is pretty neat and actually quite fun to play with against another human player. Why EA Sports ratcheted up the difficultly is beyond me as it ruins the fun.
