I often have “after hours” parties at my home with friends and friends of friends (well you know how that goes). I bought 4 sets of the hexoLight 6000 and set them up with the music system inside the house and on the covered patio. They are simply fabulous and make the parties so alive; an amazing difference and all my guests are blown away that it is so club like. They are easy to set up and very affordable. I would recommend these to anyone wanting to crank it up with their party music. I WANT MORE!!!!

This is like a strobe light on steriods. I thought it just worked with Guitar Hero but it works with great with my iPod dock. No cables to mess with-you can put it anywhere. It projects enough light to fill up my room which is about 12×15ft. I would recommend a fog machine to make it even better. Adds energy to any party!

This is really a killer system. You get 6 lights that are all hexagons and they can be popped out and reconfigured in a bunch of different shapes. They will fit in any setup. I have a small dorm room and bought 2 of these and now the after party is always at my place. There is no heat, you can place them on anything. I just use it mostly with my iPod dock and turn on the Genius playlist and – it’s a cool party.

I ordered the hexlight 6000 and they rock. I set up a whole light show in my game room and it has been a real hit with all my friends. Fast shipping also. Now I just need to order more to stack up.

Great product so far, but for me a huge problem is the “allows for any configuration” description.
You cannot arrange these differently without the [...] (for a pack of 3) extension cables from their website. So if I wanted to set these up straight across for example, I’d have to spend an additional [...] plus shipping!
If I had known this, I would have purchased two of the 3 light sets instead. I looked on their website and I could not find anywhere other than their accessories store that would indicate this.
Surely not a buyer beware instance, just FYI to anyone who wants anything except the circle configuration.
